Sekhukhune United F.C.

It has always been a dream and a wish to have a football club with the aim of improving the lives of the youth at the grassroots level and inspire the nation having regard to the current social ills and economic challenges facing the country. The team is a perfect vehicle for social cohesion and economic empowerment to the greater majority.


The late former State President Nelson Mandela said that, “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire, it has the power to unite people in a way that little else does. It speaks to youth in a language they understand. Sport can create hope, where once there was only despair. It is more powerful than governments in breaking down racial barriers. It laughs in the face of all types of discrimination”

Sekhukhune Football Club intends to change the lives of young footballers and also inspire them to play at the highest level in the continent and globally.
