Babina Noko held at home

Sekhukhune United Football Club managed to put on a brave effort and (to)come
from behind to hold Stellenbosch FC to 1-1 draw at home in a the DStv Premiership
at Emirates Airline Park formerly known as Ellis Park in Johannesburg on Saturday
evening.
The visitors keep on applying pressure to the home team, 7 th minutes into the first
half Stellies striker Junior Leandra Mandieta opened the scoring with a long-range
strike from a set piece
It was an eventful first half served up neat build up play down the right which allows
Tshediso Patjie who delivers a whipped cross inside stellies’s box, but it was blocked

by their defense, Babina Noko was trying their best to get an equalizer but stellies
defense remains alert

54 TH minutes into the second half the tempo was high but neither both teams has
been able to get an chance to score ,chances continues to come for the home team
as they keep applying pressure to the visitors but they were yet to find the
net.Tumelo Matona fires a shot at Sage Stephens and he makes a save ,Babina
Noko equalized in the second half through Chibuike Ohizu in the 88 th minutes
The result moved Babina Noko up to firth on the league standings with 4 points.
Both teams will return to action next weekend. Stellies are away to local rivals Cape
Town City while Sekhukhune united will face off against Limpopo counterparts
Baroka FC at New Peter Mokaba stadium ,17:00
