Kabwe joins Babina Noko

With preparations for the season in full swing, Babina Noko has bolstered the squad for the 2021/22 season.

Sekhukhune United Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of the left winger Rodrick Kabwe (29) from Zanaco FC, Zambia.

Born in Ndola, on the 30th November 1992, the Zambian left winger made his professional debut with Kabwe Warriors in 2011, before subsequently moving to fellow Zambian Premier League side, Zanaco three years later. During his time with Zanaco, he won the 2016 Zambian Premier League.

Kabwe is not a stranger in the South African football, in December 2016 he signed for South African Premier Soccer League side Ajax Cape Town followed by another move to Black Leopards in 2020.

Kabwe revealed that he is not promising heaven and earth but he is at Babina Noko to strengthen the team going forward. Babina Noko has been doing well this season. However, given this opportunity with the team, he has to do his job which is creating more goal opportunities and also scoring goals.

He indicated that he will help the team to do more as far as performance is concern citing that fans are expecting Babina Noko to perform well during the second round of this season.

He thanks the board of Sekhukhune United, technical team and players for welcoming him. He revealed that it is being long coming as the coach wanted him even before the end of last season but finally, he is part of the Sekhukhune Family.

Sekhukhune United Football Club would like to welcome Kabwe to Babina Noko family.
