Sekhukhune United Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Pogiso Mahlangu (29) from the GladAfrica Championship side, Pretoria Callies known as the “Romans”. Mahlangu was born in Mamelodi and started his career with the University of Pretoria in 2013.
The former University of Pretoria player had an impressive season with the Romans, where he managed to score thirteen (13) goals to help them finish in eighth position on the GladAfrica Championship log.
Last season, Mahlangu registered four (4) goals in five (5) Nedbank Cup appearances helping the Romans to advance to the Semi-Finals. However, they lost to Nedbank Cup runners-up, Chippa United Football Club.
