Babina Noko looks to bounce back

Sekhukhune United Football Club will look to bounce back after being stunned by AmaZulu FC in the previous DSTV Premier League game at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening, where they crashed to a 2-0 defeat.

Babina Noko will welcome TS Galaxy FC for their second-round fixture in the DStv Premiership encounters this Wednesday evening at New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Kick-off is at 17:15.

Both sides are desperate for a turnaround in fortunes after losing their previous games. Babina Noko failed to collect maximum points against Usuthu while The Rockets suffered a 2-1 defeat against Orlando Pirates in a match played at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

It will be the fourth meeting between these sides. The two teams last met on the 31st of October 2022 in the first-round match of the 2022/223 DSTV premiership at Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit where they played to a 1-1 draw in the last DStv Premiership encounter before the 2022 FIFA World Cup break.

Babina Noko is currently in 7th on the DStv Premiership log with 35 points from 27 games while The Rockets are in the 13th position with 31 points from the same number of matches and a point separates the two teams in the DStv Premiership league Log standings.

Sekhukhune Head Coach Brandon Truter said the team needs to be focused, and we have three more games to go, we have to make sure that we get the points so that we can finish in a respectable spot come the end of the season.
