The Premier Soccer League (PSL) under participation of GladAfrica (the sponsors of the NFD) handed over the GladAfrica championship trophy to the crowned 2020/21 champions Sekhukhune United Football Club on Wednesday 06 October 2021.
The trophy presentation(handover) took place at Supersport studios in Randburg.
We wish to express our gratitude to the players and the technical team for the wonderful effort of achieving the most important milestone by winning the GladAfrica Championship in the maiden season. It was an honour to have participated in the Glad Africa Championship League and having achieved this result under the difficulties of Covid19 pandemic.
This is a historical achievement to the community at large, not forgetting his majesty the late Kgoshi Thulare Thulare III.I am certain that you are celebrating this achievement(moment) with us, May His soul continue to rest in peace.
We are delighted to be at the upper league. I am so happy for everyone in the Babina Noko ‘s family, we all deserve this honour.
