Sekhukhune United Football Club will be well represented in various international teams this month during international week. Four of Babina Noko’s players received call-ups to join their national teams for the upcoming international friendlies.
Nyiko Sydney Mobbie, Toaster “Umshini we Sinkwa” Nsabata, Rodrick Kabwe, and Badra Ali Sangare received national teams call up for South Africa, Zambia, and Ivory Coast respectively.
Bafana Bafana will play Sierra Leone on September 24 and Botswana on September 27, with both matches taking place at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg and kicking off at 3 pm.
Nsabatha and Kabwe have been called up by Zambia national team Head Coach Aljosa Asanovic in a 27-member squad for Chipolopolo for two friendlies against Mali on September 23 and 26 in Bamako.
Sangare has been called up by Les Éléphants (The Elephants) Head Coach Jean-Louis Gasset for two international friendlies against Togo on 24 September at Stade de Rouen in France and on the 27th against Guinea at Stade de Amiens in France
Sekhukhune United FC Head Coach kaitano Tembo revealed that: “as Sekhukhune United Technical team, we are excited about the call-ups. It is always important to have players representing their country in your club, which is very good for the club’s profile. Lastly, I would like to wish them the best of luck”.
