SEKHUKHUNE UNITED AND UTHONGATHI: ENDS IN A STALEMATE
Sekhukhune United FC had to settle for a point with a 0-0 stalemate against
Uthongathi FC at Makhulong Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Going into the match placed in third place in the GladAfrica Championship standings,
Babina Noko had to contend with the 9th -placed “The Cane Cutters”.
It was a game the home team dominated in large parts and were often unlucky not to
find a net. Head Coach Macdonald Makhubedu made a couple of changes, bringing
on Siyabulela Shai, Tlotlo Leepile, and W. Bophela for Sibanyoni, Jabu Maluleke,
and B. Dlamini, respectively without success.
Babina Noko’s frustration was further compounded with what seemed to be a
legitimate goal by Nxumalo, was judged to be offside.
A point, in the end, is what Babina Noko could settle for, and would hope for better
fortunes when they visit Pretoria Callies.

Starting XI: Kapini (GK)©, Phiri(73’Ohizu), Madonsela, Motsepe, Mbonani,
Maluleke(59’Leepile) Mokoena, Sibanyoni(59’Shai), Dlamini (59’W. Bophela),
Mfecane(46’Malekena), Nxumalo
