Babina Noko suffer an away loss to Amakhosi

Sekhukhune United Football Club stumbled in Soweto where they suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Sunday evening in DSTV Premiership Match.

Babina Noko came into the match having lost against Marumo Gallants, and they were looking to rediscover their winning ways after their midweek home defeat.

After their midweek assignment, Babina Noko made few changes to their starting XI to freshen the team and handed a debut to midfielder Katlego Molaba when he came on in the 82nd minute.

The game was largely dominated by the host team with few chances going the way of the visitors.

Chiefs’ goals were converted by Nkosingiphile Ngcobo (25’) and Phathutshedzo Nange (88′), Nange’s goal capitalised on defensive errors from Babina Noko, to register his first goal of the season.

The defeat is a blow to Babina Noko’s chances of finishing in a respectable position.
